This was the message on the centerfold: “Bulky is not the worst thing a woman can be” written over screenshots of every headline of an article that said something along the lines of “Don’t worry ladies, lifting weights won’t make you bulky!” They demonize bulky like it’s the worst thing a woman can be. It’s not. And we want to get bulky.

To everyone who perpetuates that a woman’s body made from lifting weights leaves something to be desired, we say fuck that. Let’s get big. Let’s get bulky. Let the big girls be big girls with muscle. Weight cuts not required.
